Nahid Shahariar Rafat is a Bangladeshi statesman who served as the deputy prime minister of Imruland from March to May 2023. He served as the minister of electricity & resources and state minister of home affairs in different times.
Early life
Nahid Shahariar Rafat was born on Dinajpur, Bangladesh in 2004. He is currently living in Joypurhat. Rafat completed his high school education from the R.B. Govt. High School of Joypurhat in 2022. Currently he is completing his college education from the Joypurhat Government College.
Career in Imruland
Rafat joined Imruland as a member of the Parliament of Imruland in 2023. He served as minister of state of home affairs from 1 January to 15 March 2023 on the cabinet of President Fokhrul Sazzad. He was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister of Imruland by President Sazzad on 17 March 2023. He served until the term ending of President Sazzad on 24 May 2023. He was appointed as the Minister of Electricity & Resources on the day in the cabinet of President Showib Ahmmed. Rafat resigned from the post on 11 June following the political crisis.
