The Doll is a 2017 British-New Eiffelic supernatural horror short film written, directed and created by Zabëlle Skye. It also stars Skye as the main character. It was released on 19 April 2017, and was the first film to be released by Z&jProductions. A prequel, The Doll: Origins, was released on 19 April 2018.

The film was met with negative criticism.

Plot

The main character is vlogging, and we see him from the perspective of the camera. He explains John has disappeared, and he goes to look for him at the next door house. He continues to film his experience. After entering the house, he starts seeing paranormal activity. He later finds a doll holding a knife; after he laughs it off as a joke, the doll attacks him. The film ends with John filming and arguing his viewers to respect doll toys. The screen fades to black, and the movie ends,

Legacy

The film was the first film created by Z&jProductions. If is widely referenced and known in New Eiffelic pop culture.

Prequel

A prequel, The Doll: Origins, was released on 19 April 2018.
