New Eiffel is an upcoming documentary film about the micronation New Eiffel. It is planned to be uploaded to YouTube.
Production
The documentary was announced on 21 May 2019 without a release date. During 2019, a script was written and a few scenes were filmed, though by the end of 2019 the footage and the script were inevitably discarded. Throughout 2020, multiple unsuccessful attempts to revitalise the film were made, as well as unsuccessful attempts to convince Z&jProductions to distribute the film. In December, the project was announced as having been officially revitalised, following the dissolution of New Eiffel. Originally scheduled for release on 29 December 2022, on 4 May 2022 it was delayed to 13 June 2023. On 19 September, it was delayed by a few weeks to 6 July 2023 citing script changes that meant some scenes had to be reshot. It will be an independent film by Zabëlle Skye, the founder of New Eiffel and its predecessors.
