Esquerra! - Ecological and Social (former Occitanian Communist Party and Socialist Party), was an occitanian political party, founded in 2015. It is the first political party in the country. Esquerra means left in occitan/catalan language. On January 2018, Esquerra! merged with Montserrat to create the Melocoton Party.

History

First known as Occitanian Communist Party and Socialist Party, Esquerra! has directed Occitania since his creation. Starting from 2017 the desovietization has led to the renaming of the party on May 14, 2017.

On June 26, 2017, Esquerra! immersed the Vibrant Left Party.
