The Ministry of War (Portuguese: Ministério da Guerra) is a ministerial department of Ebenthal responsible for conduct the country's defenses and military interest. The ministry is led by the Minister of War who is freely named by the Prime Minister. The current Minister is Mr. Eduardo Goethe, member of the House of Councillors.

The office native name was inspired by the traditional name given to the army minister in lusophone countries, that of Ministério da Guerra. Usually, the Minister of War is also the Field Marshal of the Realm, the chief of staff of the armed forces.


The Ministry of War was officialy founded in 11 August 2014, created altogether with the micronation in 11 August 2014 due to the needs arousing from the Ebenthali Independence War.

The Ministry had been the responsible for instating mandatory military service and coordenating the finances regarding war efforts alongside the Armed Forces of Ebenthal during the country's three major conflicts. Furthermore, it administrates the goods destined to the Armed Forces.
