General elections for 11 of the 12 seats of the Sfatul Juclandiei (Council of State) will be held in Juclandia on 9 April 2023.
For the first time in Juclandia's history, the post of president will be not elected at the same time as the Council of State, given that Gori Jucărescu was named provisional President of Juclandia by a decree of the Great National Assembly on 25 December 2022.
Electoral system
According to a decree adopted by the Head of the Juclandian Republic on 3 April 2023, the election will be held by secret ballot of all members of the Great National Assembly using the single non-transferable vote system.
The first eleven candidates ranked according to the votes they received will be declared elected. The most voted candidate will serve as Vice President of Juclandia.
Contrary to the previous elections, where every member could cast nine votes and distribute them either to one candidate or to more candidates, the elections of 2023 will be cast according to the one member, one vote principle.
