The Ministry of National Identity is the ministerial department responsible for promoting Abeldane values and holidays and the implementation of the Abeldane language.

The ministry was established following a major reorganisation of the Reichsregierungskabinett and is one of the permanent ministries established under the Government Ministries and Offices Act. It is currently headed by the Generalmememarschall. The incumbent Generalmememarschall is Nick Kaos, who took office on 19 July 2017.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities the ministry takes are:

  • To promote Abeldane values and holidays
  • To manage the implementation of the Abeldane language
  • To oversee the production of memes
  • To implement new national symbols

Generalmememarschalls

The Generalmememarschall is the minister responsible for overseeing the work of the ministry. Previously, the Generalmememarschall was an office which did not hold any ministerial departments but following a major reorganisation of the Reichsregierungskabinett, it now holds a ministerial department.
