Bernardo Barcelos (Itaboraí, Brazil, 19 January 1998) is a Brazilian-born Ebenthaler politician who has served as Minister-President of Ebenthal since 30 July 2023. He previously was Minister of Economy under Henri Sãens, having been the longest serving in the position. A member of the New Democrats, he is a member of the House of Councillors for Aufenbauer. During his tenure as Minister of Economy, Bernardo oversaw the implementation of the Kupfermark and the creation of standardization in the area of micronational economics. Out of politics, Bernardo works as a librarian in the Brazilian National Archives.

Biography

Early life and education

Bernardo was born in Itaboraí, a rather underdeveloped spa town in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to a working family. He has a younger sister, Beatriz Barcelos, who was made 1st Countess of Barcelos and is also an Ebenthali politician. Bernardo was a student in the municipal public education system, from which he graduated in 2015. In 2018 he studied biblioteconomics at Candido Mendes University, obtaining his bachelor's degree in 2023.
