2024 MOF Intergames

Begon participated in the 2024 Intergames, being represented by one cyclete, Johann Kümmel. It competed in three events: chess, checkers and tic-tac-toe.

Begon played one match in the chess event against Zacharias of Primis on 6 October 2024, with Kümmel playing with white pieces and Zacharias playing with black pieces. Kümmel lost, 0-1. In the tic-tac-toe event, Kümmel advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating Shay of Corsa on 8 October 2024, 2-0. However, he lost to Mu'tazz of Rovia on 9 October 2024, 3-4.

In the checkers event, Kümmel advanced to the quarter-finals due to a walkover. After this, he defeated Matthew Salzer of Ladonia in the quarter-finals and Ezekiel Ensor in the semi-finals on 19 October, 1-0 and 0-1 respectively. He defeated Asa Ward of Curnon in the finals on 27 October 2024, 1-0, by resignation, earning Begon a gold medal.
