The Home Secretary of the Commonwealth of New Virginia, also known simply as the Home Secretary, is the member of the New Virginian Cabinet who leads the Home Office. The Home Secretary, therefore, is responsible for many of the Commonwealth's internal affairs, including the maintenance of the census, the naturalisation of new citizens, overseeing law enforcement, and coordinating environmental protection initiatives. The Home Secretary also has the authority to appoint the directors of the Home Office's various agencies.

There have been four serving Home Secretaries since the foundation of the Commonwealth. The incumbent Home Secretary is The Rt. Hon. James Frisch MSM, who was appointed by President Dame Brooklyn Hewitt KNVI upon the advice of Prime Minister Dame Elizabeth Lewis DNVI on 17 February 2021
