The Attorney General of the Commonwealth of New Virginia, also known simply as the Attorney General, is the member of the New Virginian Cabinet who leads the Ministry of Justice. The Attorney General is the chief legal representative of the Commonwealth and the legal advisor to the government. As head of the Ministry of Justice, the Attorney General is responsible for ensuring the administration of justice in collaboration with the Senate.
The first and incumbent Attorney General is The Rt. Hon. Anthony Clark, who was appointed by President Dame Vera Hewitt KNVI upon the advice of Prime Minister Dame Elizabeth Lewis DNVI on 19 September 2020.
