After this competition Elliot's interest in Essexia increased and eventually joined Essexia. After talks with Earl Finn Elliot joined the Liberal Socialist Party as a more moderate member than Earl Finn.

Elliot soon rose through the ranks of Essexian society and due to his expertise in the area as well has having the trust of Essexia's leadership he received the cabinet role of the Minister of Business for Essexia.

The LSC won 2 seats in the 2019 Essexian general election so Elliot gained a seat at the table of Essexian politics.

Lord Elliot was made the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the 22nd January 2020 following talks between Earl Jack, Earl Finn and Lord Jacob to reshuffle the cabinet. He kept this position until the 26th March, when Lord Jamie made him Minister of Sport in his cabinet reshuffles.
