The Elidian Walls (Portuguese: Muralha Elidiana or Muralhas Elidianas) are a series of tall, slightly fortified stone walls that protect Central Hill Palace, the official residence of the Prince of Altenburg, in the homonymous city-state. The wall, named after its owner, Princess Élida of Ebenthal, was built in the 1950s and is approximately 5.5 meters high, with a large wooden gate leading to the garage and a small wooden gate, but barred and protected by a padlock, which gives access to the palace through a stone staircase. In addition, the wall is covered with vines. The walls were declared a historic site and tourist interest point by the Ministry of the Interior in 2020, due to the high circulation of people through the site and its architectural iconicity, being, together with the Palace of Rochesburg, the only stone monuments and buildings in the city.
