The Zweig Institute (Portuguese: Instituto Zweig), originally founded as Royal Academy of General Knowledge (Portuguese: Real Academia de Conhecimentos Gerais) is a state-run scientific and educational institution of Ebenthal, dealing in themes of higher education, carrying out studies and research as well as providing courses and classes. Its name is a tribute to the Austro-Hungarian Jewish scholar based in Brazil, Stefan Zweig. The Zweig Institute is the only teaching institution and one of two scientific research institutions in Ebenthal, along with PLANET.

Founded through Royal Edict by King Arthur I of Ebenthal on 16 November 2014, the Institute has had more than 50 students and an academic staff of 12 teachers and professors. Besides its research work, the Zweig Institute has offered free occasional courses in history, geography, politics, vexillology, micronationalist economics and philosophy. Without physical headquarters, the institute's activities are carried out via the internet. However, it is subject to scrutiny by the Ministry of Sciences of Technology, located in Saxenfurt, while the Rectorship has been located in Erzfelsen from foundation.
