The Empire of Kuroiochu was a micronation in Ohio that was established as a rival to the Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon and more specifically then King Carson I. It was founded on 29 January 2021, four months after the foundation of Northwood-Oregon, with the goal to form a civilization that would topple Carson I. It claimed to start off "small with few members" though any exact numbers or subsequent growth is unknown. It could be estimated that Kuroiochu had between one and five members.
Koroiochu was established, at least in part, by Chantah Chanthakham, a citizen of Northwood-Oregon and the Principality of Curtice. Koroiochu alleged that it's reasoning for wishing to oppose Carson I was due to their alleged corruption and inability of the government to effectively combat it. Ironically, Koroiochu was established after the passage of Northwood-Oregon's first Canon Governing Document and even directly after Chanthakham was elected the Preclusionary Committee, the lower house of the Northwood-Oregonian Parliament, fourteen days prior on 15 January. Other members of Koroiochu are unknown. Additional members were told to join Kuroiochu's Discord before having details explained to them and to be given a role, but what these roles or details were are also unknown.
It is assumed that the Empire of Kuroiochu went defunct sometime within a year of it's establishment due to a lack of activity and information. The existence of Kuroiochu was unknown to Carson I or to the Government of Northwood-Oregon at large until over three years later on 30 August 2024 when the MicroWiki page for it was found by Carson I. Additionally, any subversive acts potentially perpetuated by it were not known and are still not publicly known.
