The Grand Pharaohate of Amenthes is a micronation that is considered to be the third successor of the Buckeye Republic and Federal Republics of Ohio. The nation was originally founded in protest of Donald J. Trump, who was the sitting president of the United States from 2017 to 2021. The Origins of the name comes from the Coptic word for the Afterlife in the Book of the Dead.

History

Founding

The Buckeye Republic was first conceived in 2017 by it's former president, Nathen Williams. During it's time, Buckeye would claim territories around the neighborhood it was roughly located in. On 1 September 2019, Williams would officially declare the Buckeye Republic independent from the United States.

Expansion and the Hill War

Buckeye would expand into plain areas, 2 houses joining in the process, resulting in the first major conflict for Buckeye. Imperium of Columbia (A Short lived Micronation), the Buckeye Republic easily invaded and annexed it, this was the height of Ohio.

Collapse and New Constitution

On in April 2020, a dispute arose as the Buckeye Republic was torn between two sides, the Buckeye Republic sided with the Dan Army Constitutional Republic of Columbia, this caused a online fight to happen. Countries declared war for short matters of time. This made the Buckeye Republic go into isolation, causing it to collapse, Nathen reformed the government and declared the Federal Republics of Ohio, and united the country under a new constitution.

Rebirth of Kemetic Thought

Now, the original reason of the Buckeye Republic and Ohio was to establish itself in the micronational stage, it was successful. Now, Nathen was ready to make his vision of a nation, and to him, a good example was the first ever nation, Egypt. on March 12, 2022, he announce that the Federal Republics of Ohio was reforming into the Pharaohate, the true form of the Buckeye Republic and Ohio

Reclaiming Kemetic Title

On August 26, 2022, Nathen would announce he would be claiming the titles of "Pharaoh of Kemet" and the smaller nomarch titles of Upper and Lower Egypt. He would state, "Mhw H'pi is the true heir to the Kingdom of Kemet, its Empire lives on in us." he would order a picture be drawn of him being given these titles by Aten himself, to please the Atenist inside Mhw H'pi. Later, Mhw H’pi changed its name to Amenthes, as the country was West of the Nile.

Government

The Government of Amenthes is and old one, Commonly described as a Divine Absolute Monarchy. Later on, it became more of a Monarcho-Socialist State. where the King rules with absolute power, but bound to a constitution to keep the rights of the people. The government is headed by Nathens own party "The Monarcho-Socialist Party." Nathen would choose Akhenaten II as his thrown name, after famous Pharaoh Akhenaten.

Royal House

The Royal House of Yetere is the Current Ruling Family of Amenthes, its origins are deeply linked with the current head of state and government, in the Holy Roman Empire, its Origan Family of Yeater would be nobles until its dissolution in 1806.

Relations

Amenthes is friendly to most nations that don't try to harm the stability of the state. Being apart of the Rust Belt Treaty Organization, it has very good relations with the Federation of the Buckeyes, one of its closest allies. It's also closely allied to states like Sovereign Military Kingdom of the Land of the Bears and New Setepenate of Resutia, Resutia being a fellow Egyptian type culture.

Geography

Location and Environment

Within the borders of Columbus, Oh. Its relatively flat, with hills guarding the Eastern Border. its mostly green with two small patches of bear dirt. Its borders were drawn thanks impart of houses, forcing to claim areas where no houses exist. This would give its unique shape, so far, it hasnt reached beyond Ohio.

Within Amenthes, are states or "Sepats." These are semi-federal, with the Monarch having the final say.

Demographics

Being small, we cant get a good look at the demographic makeup of the country, but what we know is most are German descent, Irish, and Hispanic. Most people in the country are also Christian.

Cities

Amenthes's Population is mostly in the north of the country, with its Major populations being there, including the Capital. With a near 100% urban population, its no secret that most is unpopulated.

Culture

Amenthes's culture is influence off of Ancient Egypt, keeping its traditions and its religion. Basing off of the old system mix with modern views, would create one of the first Kemetic microstates. One such tradition is the Sed Festival where the Pharaoh every 2 years would be celebrated in a festival to help his health, this is only for tradition today however.

Music

Music in Amenthes resembles ancient music mix with modern. Music is also another tradition, as it gives off a spiritual value to the people, giving it life in essence. It was always a way to reflect the culture and unity of the nation, and has always brought it together.

Society

Like music and culture, society is influenced by Ancient Egypt but with modern twists. in essence, Amenthes a relatively peaceful nation, with the major wars being in its early years and with itself. Unity and stablity are core values of Amenthes, along with freedom, this has made the backbone of Amenthes culture and views on the world stage.

Climate

The climate of Amenthes is all Humid Subtropical, getting hot summers, cold winters, and all four seasons. The highest number recorded was 106°F, while the lowest was -22°F.
