The Duchy of Ottis is a member state of the Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon. It was founded on 29 September 2020 by its Duke Theo Porter the Third and is located in Oregon, Ohio. It is notable for being one of the two originally duchies founded at the beginning of the Kingdom, the other being the Duchy of Clay. It is an absolute monarchy under Duke Theo III.

Etymology

The Duchy of Ottis's name comes from a slight alteration in the name of Otter Creek, a creek running through the Duchy's territory.

History

Foundation

The Duchy of Ottis was founded on 29 September 2020 as one of the original two duchies of the Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon. It was founded by Duke Theo III who claimed his home and some of the surrounding land, also claiming the first and only body of water in the Kingdom.
