The Commemorative Medal of the Silver Wedding Jubilee of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince Father and Princess Mother of Purvanchal was a commemorative medal issued by the Maharaja of Purvanchal to commemorate the silver wedding anniversary of his parents, the Prince Father and the Princess Mother of Purvanchal on 7 February 2024. It was also the first occasion when a commemorative medal was issued by a state, rather than being issued by the federal authority.
History
The commemorative medal was created on 5 February 2024 by a royal decree of the Maharaja of Purvanchal in conjunction with the silver wedding jubilee of his parents.
Insignia
The ribbon of the medal is orange indicating the colour of the day of the wedding.
