The Premier and Exalted Order of Kamrupa (Hindi: प्रधान एवं श्रेष्ठ कामरूप मानपदवी‎) is the second highest order of chivalry of the state of Kamrupa which is conferred by the Rajpramukh of Kamrupa upon individuals for their outstanding and meritorious contributions for the welfare of the nation and Kamrupa. The Rajpramukh, currently Anirban Phatowali is the Sovereign of the order, in his capacity as the fons honorum of the orders, decorations and medals of Kamrupa. It was the highest order of the state until the creation of the Order of the Royal Family of Kamrupa and now ranks after the royal family order.

History

The Premier and Exalted Order of Kamrupa was constituted on 22 February 2021 by the Rajpramukh of Kamrupa Anirban Phatowali during his personal visit to the Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya, following which he embarked on the decision to constitute an order for the state of Kamrupa.
