The Most Illustrious Order of Loyalty to Rajpramukh Sri Bishnu Chetry (Hindi: परम वैभवशाली राजप्रमुख श्री बिष्णु छेत्री के प्रति निष्ठा मानपदवी‎) is an order of chivalry of the state of Uttaranchal which was constituted by Rajpramukh Bishnu Chetry on 12 September 2024. The order is conferred in three classes and is conferred upon individuals in recognition of their meritorious services to the Rajpramukh, the royal family and in general services to the nation.

The order is the junior-most of the honours of the state and ranks below the Order of the Crown of Uttaranchal.

History

The Order of Loyalty to Rajpramukh Sri Bishnu Chetry was constituted by Rajpramukh Bishnu Chetry on 12 September 2024. The order was created by the same royal decree by which the Order of Uttaranchal was renamed the Order of the Crown of Uttaranchal.

Classes and insignia

Classes

The Order of Loyalty to Rajpramukh Sri Bishnu Chetry is conferred in three classes:

  • Knight Grand Commander (G.C.S.B.)
  • Knight Commander (K.C.S.B.)
  • Companion (C.S.B.)

Insignia

  • The insignia of a Knight Grand Commander is composed of a sash and a breast star. The sash is of green silk and has three yellow stripes on the middle and yellow-red stripes on both edges.
  • The insignia of a Knight Commander is similar to the insignia of a Knight Grand Commander.
  • The insignia of a Companion is composed of a necklet. The ribbon is of green silk and has two large yellow stripes separated by a small green stripe in the middle and yellow-red stripes on both the sides.

Recipients

The appointments to the order were made for the first time on 14 September 2024 in conjunction with the Rajpramukh's 23rd official birthday.
