The Most Noble Order of the Black Pelican is an hergerian order of chivalry founded by the Queen Maria of Sildavia and Borduria in 2020. It is granted to the civilians, and foreigners to recognize services rendered to the Kingdom. The Order was established as a dynastic order of the House of Sildavia and linked to the kingdom's honor system. Although the order is from the Sildavian Era's origins, it has been keept as the highest order of the nation, alongside the Order of the Bordurian Eagle.

History

The order was created shortly after the extinction of the Order of the Rose (formerly honorary order in Sildavia), and has become the most prestigious order in Sildavia since its conception until today. The head of the royal house of Sildavia is, as sovereign, always the grand master of the order. Within the order there are the following classes: Grand Master (Sovereign of Sildavia), Royal Knights and Ladies Companion, Knights and Ladies Companion, and Stranger Knights and Ladies Companion (For foreigners and heads of state).
