Emperor James I of Essexia was the first Prince of Essexia, and became the first elected Prince on August 9. He was chosen to be heir to the throne of Essexia by Emperor Terry, and was the Second Emperor of Essexia between the 19th February and 14 September 2021.

History

James was originally a loyalist to the throne, however over time he grew tired of having less power than Emperor Terry, and eventually the traitor Jamie persuaded James to take the throne from Emperor Terry, however their plans were foiled, and they were both punished and demoted to basic rights and power. He was voted to be Prince again on the 9th of August however he has not made any contributions since.

On September 16 he became a Senator of the Federation of Essexia, and on the 19th a Lord of the Commonwealth of Essexia, before becoming Prince again on the 31st of December. However on the 27th of May 2019 he voted against his First Minister and his party resulting in the First Minister, Lord Jamie, revoking his lordship and giving his title and seat in the senate to the now Lady Becky.

Prince James was bestowed the title of His Imperial Majesty's Chief Vocalist following the recording of Essexia's national anthem, Hymn of the Commonwealth, on the 14th January 2020.

He was a crucial part of both the Grey Weekend and Raging Valentines events, but was not directly involved in either. He lost his seat as a Lord in the 2020 Essexian general election, and wasn't retained in the 26th March cabinet shuffle.

On the 1st of June 2020 Prince James joined the rebellious group that called themselves "the Second Federation of Essexia", because of his betrayal Emperor Terry removed James as Prince of Essexia and replaced him with Amelia.

During the events of Hot Pink Friday, Emperor Terry was deposed by a military coup. Subsequently, the military faction saw James as the most viable alternative to Terry due to his long history with the throne and his relative impartiality. As such, James became the Second Emperor of the Commonwealth of Essexia and Čechsexia on the 19th February 2021.

Emperor James was dethroned as Emperor of Essexia on the 14th September 2021, ending 1,357 days of there being a Monarch of Essexia, and his 207 day reign as Emperor.

James is ginger-haired, average height, and tends to wear clothes that would be considered 'trendy' or 'hipster'. He is a talented musician.
