Transportation in Gapla
Transportation in Gapla refers to the many methods of transportation in the Federated States of Gapla, many theoretical as its main territory of Greater Danubia is yet to be inhabited.
Currently, transportation consists of bikes and cars registered macronationally and optionally registered in Gapla, usually to deliver mail between Gaplan cities, or houses of governors and mayors. However, theoretical plans for other transportation, including transportation by airplane, train, and car, exist and have been partially developed by the government.
Theoretical methods
Due to the size of the country, building an airport would be infeasible and residents would likely use the closest airport outside of Greater Danubia. Transportation on foot would also be common, as the size of the individual territories of Greater Danubia are very small and is planned to be densely populated.
Ground transportation
Ground transportation in the country is planned to be minimal, as the country is very small and the railway will be the primary method of transportation.
Taxi and bus services will not be banned but are expected to be very rare due to the availability of a free and fast public railway system.
Railway system
Gapla plans to have a railway system in the Greater Danubia, which will serve as its primary means of transportation. It is planned to include an underwater bridge, similar to the ones in South Korea, that will be used for transportation between the areas of Greater Danubia that are not connected by land. There will be one line due to the vertical shape of the islands and their small area.
