The National Assembly of the Federated States of Gapla, formerly known as Parliament, is Gapla's sole, bicameral legislature. It consists of the upper house, the Federation Assembly, and the lower house, the Chamber of Deputies. However, it is de facto unicameral, as all decisions are made together and the Federation Council is only used for emergencies.

Prior to the National Assembly, Gapla had its de facto bicameral Parliament of the Federated States of Gapla, which consisted of the Executive Council, who were nationally elected leaders, and a Chamber of Representatives, consisting of a different number of representatives from each state or territory. Today, the National Assembly was elected using open party lists nationally after the 2022 Gaplan general election. In Gapla, the legislature is largely tied to the Executive Branch. The head of the legislature is also the head of government of Gapla, namely the President, with the second highest official in the party, the de facto legislative leader, being the Prime Minister.
