Association of Indonesian Micronations News Network (Indonesian: Jaringan Berita Asosiasi Negara Mikro se-Indonesia), also known as AIM News Network (Indonesian: Jaringan Berita AIM), is an intermicronational news agency operating under the Secretariat General Public Relations Office of the organisation. It was established on 3 March 2020, with Mustafa Hakim as the Chief Editor.

History

Until recently, only a handful of AIM Members has its own news agency that could independently publish its news story to the world, especially the MicroWiki community, while the rest of the members are only able to publish their news locally. This has caused an issue because news about Indonesian micronations were not published further to the wider intermicronational community, causing scarcity on information about Indonesian micronational movement.

Calls from member states for AIM to have its own news agency was already made for years so it could address the issue, yet was failed to be realised. In March 2020, Secretary General Mustafa Hakim moved a motion to establish a news agency for AIM, which received wide support from members, and was immediately established on 3 March.

Services

AIM News Network provides an online website aimicro.news.blog for AIM members to publish their news reports. The website only serve as a relay for news reports made by news agencies of respective member states.
