Not to be confused with 2024 MOF Intergames, which was also hosted by Slitronia and is similarly called "Slitronia 2024"
The 2024 MOF eGames, alternatively the 2024 Intermicronational Olympic Electronic Games or simply Slitronia 2024, were Micronational Olympic Federation eGames hosted by the Great Kingdom of Slitronia from 2 March 2024 till 12 April 2024 (previously with the target ending date of 22 March 2024), after being chosen as the host nation by the Commissioner Council on 22 November 2023.[1][2] A total of 18 nations participated, being represented by 22 cyletes in 11 events. One of the core principles of that year's competition was the focus on efficiency rather than on presentation, which is why the games had no official opening or closing ceremonies.
New Athens topped the medal table with four gold medals, and eight medals overall, with Ladonia finished second, having earned four gold medals and one bronze. Slitronia, the host nation, finished fifth, with three silver medals and one bronze.
Events
The eGames consisted of a total of 11 events, those being agar.io, battleship, billiards (eight-ball pool), checkers, chess, gomoku (five in a row), poker, reversi, rock paper scissors, Tetris and tic-tac-toe. These events all were taken from the previous editions of the contest, with the events that were based on downloadable games, real-life sports and subjectivity excluded.
Unlike the previous years, instead of a single-elimination tournament, the Swiss system was used instead. That was chosen due to most of the games being duel-based, as to mitigate the effects of "bad" matchups. Originally a semi- and a final were planned for each game, each consisting of 3 rounds played in smaller groups. However, to not have the games go on too long, the system was eventually changed to only have the first round, with the results of each round being converted into points. A victory resulted in 2 points, a bye in 1.9 points (to make it fair to people who won through skill), a loss in 1 point and people who did not show up or who were disqualified received 0 points for that round (in addition to being removed from the next rounds' pool). Since the participants were grouped into smaller groups, this resulted with some people gaining the same amount of points, which resulted in the tied cyletes in the top three to have to play a duel to determine who would win. Agar.io and Tetris were exceptions, as they instead used the in-game score as the ranking method.
To avoid the main problem of the previous editions, that being the games stretching out over many months, there were two "checkpoints" before which people who had not reached a certain round had to play their matches, with the failure to do so resulting the disqualification from the rest of that event (except when that person tried to reach the other person, and the other did not respond, which resulted in only the latter being disqualified). However, even if disqualified, their scores up until that point were still counted.

Coinciding Remote Games
Onopolissia hosted the 2024 MOF Remote Games a month after, the first instalment of the event.
Nation logos
To represent the different nations, the host decided to create a logo of each participating country, based on their flags. All the logos were made in a pixelart style.
Official Bids
For the 2024 games, the bidding process was altered in contrast to previous events. Instead of a vote to decide the host nation, the Commissioner Council directly selected a candidate.[3] The announcement to register bids was made on 4 November 2023, with the deadline being 11 November.[3]
