New English Republic was established on 1 March 2024, with the purpose of building an English community for all English people and promoting English Culture.
Etymology
The Etymology originates from "England" a country located within the United Kingdom, meaning land of the Angles, The Angles were one of the Germanic Tribes[1].
History
The New English Republic was formed on the 1 March 2024 after receiving some funds from other micronations, the goals of the NER is to promote the English culture and building an English community within the micronational community.
The current leader of the NER comes from Cornwall, England and formed the NER after getting inspiration from her sister who leads Republic of Stret Merdhin.
Government
The NER has a democraticly elected government in form of a Parliament under the name of the House of Commons and the House of Lords based upon the British government system.
The NER has 2 poltical parties known as Labour Party of the NER and the Conservative Party of the NER.
General and Local elections happen every 12 months in order to keep elections fair and free within the NER.

The NER is spilt unto 4 counties with their own County Councils with a level of devolution to help manage the work load of national government.
Culture
The culture of the NER has heavy influence from English culture due to being located within England and having an English leader, the NER supports the use and teaching of Old and New English and supports the English sports teams across all events including Esports.
Education
The NER uses the same Education system as the United Kingdom such as years 1 - 12 with the GCSE system when it comes to Year 10 - 11.
The NER advoactes for more English History, Culture and old english to be used and taught GCSE level.
Law Enforcement
The NER shares the same Law Enforcement as Devon and Cornwall Police (England), It use's the same system as the United Kingdom (999) and follows the laws and rule's set out by the government.
