The Next House Hold federal election will be held on or before 2 April 2022 to elect all 25 members of the House of Representatives. Two by-elections were held during the 14th parliament.

Background

The result of the 2021 House Hold general election was a Liberal Minority Government. The Liberals landed on 9 seats, Labor 7, the Greens 6, One Nation 2, and the Democratic Party 1. On the 21st of May the Green Party announced it's support for the new Liberal government

Redistribution

The House Hold Electoral Commission is required two weeks after the first day of the House of Representatives to determine the number of seats in each region. The number of seats in the House of Representatives continued at 150, Saytók gained a seat (4) and Satago (0) losing its one seat.

Liberal MP Polar Bear and Labor Senator Dr. Sloth presented a bill which guaranteed Satago a seats in the House of Representatives. Two days later Prime Minister Enia Hyena announced support for the bill. The next day the bill passed the House of Representatives 12-4.
