The electoral division of Bismarck is one of the five electorates in the House Hold House of Representatives, it is the largest electorate and takes up the vast majority of the northern part of House Hold. The electorate is made up of the same boundaries as the region of Bismarck.

Bismarck is represented by three members elected under the Hare-Clark electoral system at each federal election. If one seat is vacant during the parliaments term, a by-election will be held.

Bismarck takes up the census divisions of Cribston, Salem, East Columbia, and West Columbia
