Pinang, officially the Pinangese Republic (Italian: Repubblica Pinanghese), known also as the Third Republic of Pinang , is a landlocked micronation located in Southern Europe with a population of 9 inhabitants. It completely borders with Italy. Pinang is a Semi-Presidential Republic [1] since 1st March 2021.

This micronation is a member of IACD.


The name 'Pinang' derives from the old name of George Town, a city located in Malaysia. Pinang was created as a political-military game of a fictitious state with capital George Town in January 2018.


First Republic

Initial Period

The First Republic of Pinang was born on April 18, 2018. The next day the elections were held and the president of the Golden Party won. On April 24, the constitution was approved. On May 8, the president founded the CTASIO. On May 21, a referendum was held to enter the Kermadec Union.

The crisis of Pinang

On June 4, the president accused the minister of foreign affairs of organising a revolution. The next day he was accused of false accusations and is banned for 5 days. The Minister of Foreign Affairs organised a referendum to anticipate the elections. The following day the Minister of Foreign Affairs surrendered.


On June 15, the Archduchy of Pinang was formed and the following day elections were held for the Archduke. On 19 June the former vice-president officially became the Archduke of Pinang. On 6 August 2018 two new territories are annexed and the population increases by 4 inhabitants.

Pre-Electoral Crisis

On 17 October 2019, Elections were postponed due to lack of necessary candidates. On 18 October 2019, President of the Golden Party, Esty resigned from the office of Prime Minister and President of Parliament. On October 19, a new draft constitution is presented to parliament by ex-Premier Esty.

Second Republic

The Second Republic of Pinang was created on 21 October 2019 the day after the approval of the new constitution. The first presidential election was won by the former premier Esty. On 2 February 2020, the fourth constitution entered into force and on 22 March 2020 after a referendum, the Julian calendar became the state calendar. On 30 April 2020, the Triumvirate has approved the current constitution.


On 2nd May 2020, the current constitution came into force.



Pinang has 10 scattered enclaves surrounded by Italian territory. The largest municipality is the municipality of Estosadok-Costituzione.

Orthodox Christianity

The most practiced religion is the Catholicism but there are also Orthodox and Atheist minorities.


Pinang is a semipresidential Republic. The President is the head of state, appoints the attorneys, is the head of the armed forces and is elected every four months. The Prime Minister is the head of government, coordinates foreign affairs, is appointed every four months, chairs the Council of Ministers, appoints the ministers and the deputy prime minister. The prime Minister can be removed by the Senate with a motion of no confidence. The Senate is composed of all the citizens who are over 13 years old and are members of the discord server. The senate holds the legislative power.

The Military forces are divided into two regiments: the 1st Regiment Estosadok and the 2nd Regiment Gandalf. The Military Forces were established by the former President Esty on April 19, 2018. The color of the Military Forces is the Blue.

The Secret Services were established by the Archduke on 6 September 2018.
