The party is led by the Central Committee, which is presided over by the General Secretary, currently Mišo since 15 November 2024.
Ideology
The PRL's ideology is centred on Marxist, socialist and progressive ideas. The biggest ideological and political influence on the PRL come from Italian communists, though other influence, notably Post-Marxist, Neo-Marxist, anti-capitalist, anti-fascist and libertarian socialist, is also present.
The PRL economically advocates for interventionism in the economy and creating a socialist economy in Pinang. The PRL is strongly progressive on social issues, such as rights of ethnic, linguistic and national minorities or rights of the LGBTQ+ community and also feminism.
On ecology and the environment, the PRL is staunchly green and supports all sorts of green policies, such as renewable energy and greater regulation of fossil fuels.
Organisation
The Party of the Radical Left is organised through its Charter, which is the supreme document of the Party, all party bodies must be governed by it.
The highest institution of the PRL is the Party Congress, which is composed of all party members. The Congress elects the Central Committee, its Chairperson and Deputy Chairpersons, adopts important decisions such as entering coalitions or amending the Party Charter.
The Central Committee is the policy-making and executive organ of the PRL, which manages day-to-day party's affairs. The competences of the Central Committee are to elect the Secretariat, the General Secretary, to adopt manifestos, to nominate electoral candidates etc.
The General Secretary of the Central Committee is the spokesperson and administrator of the Party and works under the supervision of the Central Committee. Their duties are oversight of Provincial (Territorial) Party Committees, electoral campaigns and organisation of the Party Congresses.
