Cantons of Lurk
Cantons of Lurk is a collective term for the constituent states which made up the Noble Republic of Lurk, which was a de iure confederation of independent states. During the country's lifetime, most of these cantons, barring Ravensburg and Redwood, were devoid of significant Lurkish activity and local governance. One of these cantons, Loringia was both a constituent land of Mercia and a Lurkish Canton at the same time, which was allowed by Lurkish constitution, and was never questioned by Mercian lawmakers.

Lurkish Giant Mountains
The Lurkish Giant Mountains (Czech: Lurkské Krkonoše) was one of the central cantons of the Noble Republic of Lurk, bordering the Czech Republic to the North and West, and the Lurkish cantons of Elysium, Vertylia and Canton Lurk clockwise. It is named after the Giant Mountains in the Czech Republic, which they resemble. This canton is unique in that is the only canton in the Lurk hills area covered with a coniferous forest. The canton contains the National Park of the same name, the Dresler Square and several important roads. The canton was one of the few cantons with a national anthem. The canton was established in 2013.
The last council representative was Alejandro Whyatt.
National Park
Majority of the canton is declared a national park by the Noble Republic of Lurk, due to the uniqueness of the canton within Lurk.
Infrastructure
Unlike the majority of the central cantons, the Lurkish Giant Mountains have a strech of paved road and a concrete panel road. Both of these roads connect to the Czech Republic and the canton of Elyisum, Vertylia and the Canton of Lurk in Lurk.
Dresler Square
Dresler square, named after an important cultural figure in early Lurk, is one of the largest squares in Lurk. It is an unpaved, 670 m2 irregularly-shaped area of great historical significance to Lurk, and the first major crossroad after the border with the Czech Republic. It connects the cantons of Elysium, Lurkish Giant Mountains, Canton of Lurk and to a certain extent Vertylia.
Scenic road
Scenic Road, officially S9, is a concrete panel road designed for pedestrian or cyclist usage. It is best known for being close to the Lurkish Giant Mountains national park, and the view of it.
Other
The canton hosts the 5th Border Crossing, the National Square and a crossing with S2, the National Road.

Podlurksko-Neksko
Podlurksko-Neksko, roughly translated as Underlurk-Nek, was the largest of the central cantons of Lurk. It was one of the most heavily visited cantons of Lurk, due to the presence of the Nek River, bridges and footpaths. It was best known for hosting the majority of the Nek River in Lurk and its natural beauty. The last council representative was Horatio Eden. The canton was established in 2013, along with the other cantons, but its territory formed the core of Lurk since the country's foundation.
Nature
Nek River
Nek River is the defining feature of Podlurksko-Neksko, and the Canton is partly named after it. The Saar stream mouths into the Nek River in the central part of the canton, as does the Loringian stream.

Infrastructure
Bridge over Nek
In the canton, the currently unnamed bridge, which also serves as a border crossing, can be found.
History
Podlurksko-Neksko was initially claimed in the year 2011, shortly after the establishment of the Lurk Republic. It was one of the factors that helped to decide the claims of the country and shape the initial culture of Lurk (especially through the Nek River symbolism). Initially an unnamed part of the subdivision of Lurk, it then was transformed into a part of the Lurk Hills county within the LurkSAR of the Lurk Federation. In March 2013 it was finally named Podlurksko-Neksko and became a Kraj within Lurk, acquiring its current flag and anthem.

Free City of Redwood
Redwood City, later Redwood Directly Controlled Area and finally Free City of Redwood, was founded in early Autumn of 2011. It was the capital city of Lurk and also the largest city. It has vast resources of clay, water, food and rocks. Most prominent was the mining industry, producing fine clay and the chemical industry. Agriculture suffered from unclaiming nearly a half of the land, due to new construction project on the property.
The motto of the canton was Ubi Concordia, Ibi Victoria.
History
History of this property dates to pre-World War 1, when it was bought by the paternal great-grandfather of Alex White. The only building was built sometime around this date. The property was annexed with beginning of the Federation as capital city located in the Acrest Republic. On November 26 of the same year, it was made a directly controlled area, which removed it completely from Acrestian control. With the establishment of the Noble Republic of Lurk it has been an independent subdivision of Lurk, firstly on the Kraj level, subsequently on the cantonal level.
Climate
It shares continental climate with the Czech Republic and the rest of Lurk. The area tends to be colder than contiguous Lurk, due to presence of a nearby river and a large forest.
Geography
The land is almost flat, with one higher plateau. Several unique and small "environments" used to exist here, until half of the property was split away and most of these areas were removed. This led to establishment of National Parks in the Lurk Hills area.
