New Rogaland (Norwegian: Ny-Rogaland; Šlovedkian: Nuvé Rugepadu) is the capital department of Nedlando-Khorasan, hosting Palazu, the country's capital and largest city. Although much of the department's mass is taken up by the municipality of Palazu itself, there are some outlying "rural" and unpopulated districts to the east and west. It is the cultural and historical center of the Šlovedkian region, and is home to their spiritual leader and the Genghis Khan of Nedland, Ned Gunderson. Its capital and only city is also the national capital, Palazu.
Palazu was incorporated on 8 May 2015 into the Arlington SCR (Šlovedkian: Arlengtun Subkulturnish Respublika), and was renamed from the English Palazzo to native Palazu in June. On 19 November, it was officially established as a province of Paravia. It was named after the home region of Paravia proper, Rogaland, in Norway.
As for its "hilarious" flag, it was originally meant to represent the buildings around Palazu, but the flag is now kept for sentimental value due to its completely and utterly ridiculous ugliness.
