The Ministry of Royal Court Affairs (Hindi: राज दरबार कार्य मंत्रालय), formerly also known as the Ministry of the Royal Household and the Ministry of Royal Palace Affairs is a union ministry of the government of Vishwamitra which is responsible for the affairs and administration of the royal household and the Conference of Rulers and handling its communication and relations with the government and other affiliated bureaus. The ministry was established on 17 June 2020 under the premiership of Princess Anoushkaa. The ministry remained functional until its dissolution on 11 June 2022 when all the responsibilities of the ministry were transferred to the Grand Chamberlain and the other officers of the royal household. The ministry was re-created on 15 June 2024.
Organization
The Minister of Royal Court Affairs is headed by the Minister of Royal Court Affairs who was either a cabinet rank minister or a minister of state with independent charge. They were responsible for the formulation of various activities, tasks, laws under the ministry's jurisdiction. Cabinet ministers of Royal Court Affairs have often been assisted by a junior minister, or a Minister of State for Royal Court Affairs.
