The First Snagoveanu ministry (Hindi: प्रथम स्नागोवीनु मंत्रिमंडल) was the 21st union council of ministries formed in the history of the nation and the only second caretaker government. The ministry was formed on 28 January 2021 following the Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya's invitation to Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu to form the caretaker government in his name in order to fill in the acting capacity as under the direction of the Election Commission, an incumbent government shall quit at least a month before the conduction of the elections. It was dissolved following the resignation of the Prime Minister Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu on 1 March 2021.

Composition

The ministry composed of Prime Minister Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu, Deputy Prime Minister David Augustus, cabinet ministers Thomas Bainbridge, Arnab Deka, Matthew Xia, Crown Prince Manoj of Uttaranchal and Tanvi Sridasa. The ministers of state included Farhaz Hazarika, Daniel Lee and Tusharjit Deka. Both Hazarika and Lee held independent charge. Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya was also a member of the ministry and held the portfolios of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Finance, and Law and Justice.

Initially Liam Alexander was appointed as the deputy prime minister but he resigned from the position hours after his appointment following a dispute with the Rashtradhyaksh. He was immediately replaced by David Augustus.
