The Seventh Tanishkaa Patranabish ministry (Hindi: सातवीं तनिष्का पत्रनाबिश मंत्रीमंडल) was formed on 13 May 2020, thirteen days after Tanishkaa Patranabish assumed office as the Executive President of the Commonwealth of Friends Society succeeding Varuna Sriraya. As the President is allowed to join the council of ministers, but not allowed to hold any portfolio, she appointed Bishnu Chetry as Senior Minister to discharge the duties of the Head of Government and also to coordinate with the members of the council of ministers.

Composition

The ministry was appointed ten days after president Tanishkaa Patranabish on 10 May 2020. The ministry was headed by the president herself as executive head of state and her responsibilities as the head of the government were shared by her nominee, the Senior Minister Bishnu Chetry and his special deputy, the Chief Cabinet Minister Arnab Sil. The portfolios were allocated on 13 May 2020.

The ministers of cabinet rank included Bishnu Chetry (Senior Minister), Arnab Sil (Chief Cabinet Minister), Abhiraj Kar, Asmi Patranabis, Anirban Phatowali, Arnab Deka, Sampriti Paul, and Rajdeep Deka. Bishakha Das, Arpan Deka, Tusharjit Deka, Pallavi Rai were appointed as Ministers of State with independent charge, while Harlong Terang, Abhirup Patranabis and Kushal Saha were appointed as Ministers of State.
