The First Hazarika ministry was the 23rd Council of Ministers of the State of Vishwamitra headed by Prime Minister of Vishwamitra Farhaz Hazarika that was formed on 11 September 2021, two days after the resignation of Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu. The swearing-in-ceremony of the members of the council of ministers was held on 11 September 2021 in a virtual ceremony. The council of ministers was dissolved on 21 October 2021, a month before the November general election.
History
Farhaz Hazarika was appointed as Prime Minister on 10 September 2021 to succeed his predecessor Ștefan Marius Snagoveanu, who tendered his resignation on 9 September after being appointed as Rajyapal of Basistha.
Composition
The ministry composed of the Prime Minister Farhaz Hazarika, Deputy Prime Minister Michal Nowacki, Senior Minister Princess Anoushkaa, four Cabinet Ministers and four Ministers of State. The Cabinet Ministers include Tanvi Sridasa, Ested Vlasyn, Rory Leonard, and Charles Burgardt; while the Ministers of State include Matthew Xia, Ezri Ambriz, Abayat Ibtiyaz, and Jayden Dagsa.
Prime Minister Farhaz Hazarika retained almost all ministers of the outgoing government. Prince Abhiraj who served as Senior Minister in the outgoing ministry was dropped, while Charles Burgardt is the only new minister to the inducted. Rory Leonard who served as a minister of state (independent charge) in the outgoing government was promoted as a cabinet minister while, Matthew Xia was appointed as a minister of state.
