The culture of Kapreburg is primarily Western, mostly derived from American culture. Kapresh culture is shaped primarily by two sources, the first being the people of Kapreburg themselves, the second being the government of Kapreburg performing nation-building. These cultural ideas presented by the government are often adapted by the Kapresh people.

Language

The official language of Kapreburg is English, spoken as a first language by the vast majority of the population, and spoken as a second language by the rest of Kapreburg. Other than English, Estonian is spoken by a small percent of the population as a native language. The Kapresh mainland is situated in Chicago Southland, an area with a growing Latin American population. Due to this, some Kapreburgers have learned Spanish as a second language, and Spanish is taught in all schools near Kapreburg. French is also taught in some schools, and a small amount of Kapreburgers have learned French.

"Kapresh" conlang

The Ministry of Culture has long been interested in the idea of a unique language for Kapreburgers to learn, to differentiate themselves from others. The first attempt at this was the Kapro-Jargon language, but the idea of developing Kapro-Jargon has been largely abandoned. The Ministry of Culture is still exploring the idea of a unique Kapresh language, however, and toki pona has been considered as a viable option, due to its simplicity and uniqueness. The Ministry of Culture is also slowly developing a new conlang, although this is largely experimental.
