The Imperial Army of Paravia is the land forces of Paravia. The army consists solely of conscripts, whom are drafted upon the event of war, with the exception of the Imperial guard, which is the only permanently standing unit of the Imperial Army

Background

The imperial army was founded on 30 November, 2014. The army was formed as a self defense force, with the primary goal of defending the territories and people of the empire, as well as the Emperor.

Equipment

Weapons

The Imperial Army issues weapons for self defense, primarily non lethal weapons, however, also issues pistols and rifles if it be required. The standardized rifle of the Imperial Army is the 1903 Krag-Jørgensen long rifle.

Uniforms

The Paravian Imperial Guard, also sometimes referred to as the Eagle Guard are the only military unit that currently has a specific uniform. The uniform is primarily red, with a red helmet and red feather, white trousers, black boots, a light gray waistcoat and a steel chest plate. Uniforms for other parts of the military are currently being designed.
