The Riksmarine, somtimes referred to as the Imperial Navy is the Naval arm of the Imperial Paravian Armed Forces. the name of the navy was formally changed from the Imperial Navy to the Riksmarine on 5 November 2016. The navy operates 7 ships of various sizes, and is the most powerful arm of the armed forces.

Background

The Riksmarine was officially founded on the 30th November 2014, 1 day after the establishment of the Empire of Paravia. The aim of the navy was to protect Paravian territorial waters and project power.

The waponry of the Riksmarine consists of mostly non-lethal weapons like air-horns, however has the possibility to use lethal weapons if necessary.

On 6 November, the Riksmarine officially adopted the a naval anthem, under the name "We are sailors true". On the same day it also officially adopted a naval ensign, designed by the Emperor.
