The Centish Empire was a micronation located in Illinois. It is a predecessor state to the current Duchy of Hodiny. The capital was named Aurum. Aurum still exists today under the name New Rouen, as the capital of Hodiny. The Centish Empire was established on June 2 under the name Kingdom of Centem, but its official establishment is dated at December 17, 2013, under the name Kingdom of Zyland. The Centish Empire morphed into the Kingdom of Ërste on November 18, 2014, and that eventually changed to the Duchy of Hodiny. Its peak population was 14, but at the end of the Empire's reign the population had decreased to 6.
