In addition to Liebenfeld to the west, Bergau is also bordered by the Fazenda da Serra neighborhood of the Brazilian municipality of Poços de Caldas to the north, east and south. The burg is home to the entire Zederthal Forest, including the Grünorange Peak, Marienbourg's highest point, and c. 80% the Duke's National Park. Furthermore the only body of water in the country, the Astyanax River, crosses Bergau and separates the cedar forest from a pool of hot springs.
Bergau is the least urbanized burg in Pomerade, with around 92% of its territory occupied by forest and fields. The only building entirely in Bergau is a fishing hut; nonetheless, the burg limits cross over the Carvalho Brothers Farm barn.
