The Surdamian Mark (sign: *; code: RSM) is the official currency of the Empire of Surdam. It currently is printed by the Bank of Surdam in Jackson City.

History

An old sheet of outdated Surdamian Marks

Created in 2017, the Surdamian Mark has been serving as the Surdam national currency for as long as Surdam has been around. When it was originally made in 2017 the exchange rate was if you traded in 1 Surdamian Mark, you would get back 0.75 US cents, now it is *1 for around 0.91 US cents. The Surdamian Mark has gone through many design changes, with the latest one most likely here to stay.

Written styles

Amounts can only be written in one way known as: *. (known as the Standard Format, written as *1.). The placement of the symbol goes at the start of the amount, and a period goes at the end.
