  2. As a puppet state of the Kingdom of Loveland.

The Ohio Protection Pact was a regional organization in Ohio that is assumed to be defunct. It was founded with the goal of protecting Ohio micronations although any accomplishments it may have achieved have not identified by the organisation or any outside bodies. It was heavily inspired by the Organisation of Active Micronations in both symbol and apparent structure.

The Ohio Protection Pact was founded by the Kingdom of Loveland, the Kingdom of Butler, Republic of Goshen, and the Free City-State of Hamilton[a] on 22 August 2018. Later, the Kingdom of Bryania, would be admitted as a member on 10 February 2019 after having its request to join approved. Due to the lack of information, it is assumed the organisation went defunct along with the dissolution of Bryania on 4 February 2021.

Apparent structure

The official structure of the Ohio Protection Pact is unknown but it appears to have been heavily inspired and similar to the structure of the Organisation of Active Micronations.

Positions

The Ohio Protection Pact seemed to have at least four leadership positions, all of which are also used, at least in name, by the Organisation of Active Micronations. Only one position was seemingly filled at its dissolution, however, that being Nathaly of Bryania who served as Secretary-General.

The known positions of the Ohio Protection Pact were:

  • Secretary-General
  • Vice-Secretaries General
  • Internal Affairs Secretary
  • Chief Justice

Legacy

Despite having no discernable lasting effect on micronationalism in Ohio, the Ohio Protection Pact seemed to be an important influence on the affairs of its memberstates. The organisation served as a uniting factor between the already intertwined members and even got involved in the Great Loveland War, though it seemingly ended in their defeat.

Footnotes

  1. The City-State of Hamilton would later leave the organisation after being annexed by another micronation, though it would later rejoin as the Duchy of Hamilton
