The Honours Act 2019 is the foundational document establishing the honours system in Kohlandia. The Act establishes the Crown's ability to create Nobility and establish orders (such as the Order of Kohlandian Excellence), while also establishing Parliament's ability to grant honorary citizenships.

The Act also prevents the Monarch from receiving honours established within Kohlandia and provides a mechanism for the automatic removal of any Kohlandian honours bestowed upon a person in the event of them becoming the new Monarch. In addition, the Act prevents Parliament bestowing honorary citizenship on Kohlandian citizens.
