The Eastern Seaboard Union (ESU) was an intermicronational organisation uniting all micronations on the eastern seaboard of the United States and Canada. It is not known when it was established.
Aims
The ESU had no stated aims or organisation, other than not establishing a common currency and emphasising that it was not designed to take decision-making out of the hands of individual governments.
Membership
Members were required to be at peace with each other and be open to allowing free trade between their micronations.
Membership requirements
The applicant must:
- Be at least 3 months old;
- Be at peace with all other micronations in the alliance; and
- Be located in one of the following US states:
- Maryland
- West Virginia
- Virginia
- Delaware
- Pennsylvania
- New Jersey
- New York
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Georgia
- Florida
- District of Columbia
- Quebec
- New Brunswick
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
- Newfoundland and Labrador
