The Province of Montosh was a province in the St.Charlian federation of Koss. It consisted of 1 city, Rulon, with Joshua Everson as its sole citizen.
History
Kingdom of Montosh
On July 3, 2009, Joshua Everson established the Kingdom of Montosh, governed as an absolute monarchy. After rebellions made by citizens in concern with their lack of representation, it was disbanded.
Reform into constitutional monarchy
On August 8, 2009, Joshua Everson established a new government, a constitutional monarchy. He established a Senate, work in the government was made. For a large period of time, Montosh was in a state inactivity. Everson finally started a large ctizenship campaign, acquiring many new citizens. Upon joining MicroWiki, Montosh started to engage in diplomacy with other micronations.
Democratic Reform
On April 10, 2011, The citizens of Montosh voted for a democracy, and as a result, on April 22, The Montosh Empire had the 2011 Montosh Federal Elections. In which former Emperor Joshua Everson won the election with a majority government. The next elections took place on April 22, 2012.
Nemkhav Federation
After months of frequent inactivity, the Parliament of Montosh decided to apply to join the Nemkhav Federation as a republic. The application sent in on March 11, 2012, was approved on March 13th. Upon the beggining of the school year, the government fell into completely inactivity. Montosh was declared defunct on June 13, 2012.
Koss
On January 6, 2013, Joshua Everson revived Montosh in order to join the St.Charlian federation of Koss, where Montosh was a province.
