Constitution of Vishwamitra |
The Parliament of Vishwamitra is the bicameral legislature of the Vishwamitra. Members of the Parliament are elected by the first-past-the-post system to represent their respective constituencies, and they hold their seats for one year or until the body is dissolved by the Rashtradhyaksh on the advice of the council of ministers.
The maximum membership of the Parliament allotted is 20. The strength of the parliament was reduced from thirty-five to twenty by a royal decree issued on 13 January 2021 by the monarch of Vishwamitra prior to the 2021 general elections.
