The Order of the Silver Scimitar was a Gishabrunian order of two degrees, established by HIM Tsar Kuri I on the 20th July, 2010. The Order of the Silver Scimitar was the highest military decoration in the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun. All citizens of micronations recognised by Gishabrun that took part in a Gishabruni war were eligible to receive this award. Gishabruni citizens were also originally eligible, until the amendment of the Peerage Creation Act on May 16, 2011, created a meritocratic peerage system in the Empire.

The Order of the Compass was disestablished on July 22nd, 2013, with the new constitution of Gishabrun SAR.

The Order of the Silver Scimitar consisted of two degrees,:

  1. - Commander (Initials: OSC)
  2. - Bogatir (Initials: OSK)

Symbolism

The colour of the ribbon and the medal of The Order of the Silver Scimitar, Maroon, represents courage and bloodshed during battle. The scimitars represent warfare, and their silver/white colour represents justice, purity and truth.
