The Kravatian Institute of Wisdom and Knowledge (Russian: Краватский Институт Мудрости и Знания, Azerbaijani: Kravat Hikmət və Bilik İnstitut), also known as the KIOWAK (Russian: КИМЗ, Azerbaijani: KHBİ), was the public university of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun since its establishment on 30 March 2011. Its department heads, together known as the House of Heads, formed one lower house of Gishabrun's pentacameral Council, and its leader - the Most High Academe - was a member of the Elite Duma, the Council's upper house.
While established as a university and certain courses were planned, the KIOWAK was primarily used to investigate and map out new Gishabruni land claims. It was dissolved with the absorption of Gishabrun into the Free State of Renasia as Gishabrun SAR on 22 July 2012.
History
The Kravatian Institute of Wisdom and Knowledge was founded on the 30 March 2011 by an amendment to the Gishabruni constitution that established the KIOWAK's department heads as an integral part of the new structure of the Council. Several Departments were created, with their Heads appointed by HIM Tsar Kuri I, and became known collectively as the House of Heads. The KIOWAK's first leader, known as the Most High Academe, was chosen on 1 March 2011 by all eligible KIOWAK Professors to be HEE Emperor-Marquis Cyril I. On 9 November 2011, another election resulted in his replacement by HEE Most High Academe Randomguy. HEE Emperor-Marquis Cyril I was once again elected to the position of Most High Academe on 20 May 2012. The KIOWAK was dissolved on 22 July 2012.
Organisation
The KIOWAK was organised as a collection of independent Departments, each covering a general topic and governed by a Department Head. Each Department Head was in turn empowered to appoint Professors for individual topics under their Departmental purview. Every 6 months, all Department Heads were eligible to run for election to become the Most High Academe of the KIOWAK, and all Professors had the right to vote for their desired candidate for this position.
